Hi,
This theme is good on it's own, but when you enable compiz/metacity blur and transparency effect with this theme, it is easily one of the best looking desktop you will ever have.
I have modified the colorscheme a little as well.

Let me add some more suggestions which may help to improve the theme even more in the next version.
My observations are based on installing the theme on Maverick alpha2 and not on Lucid, so it might not be an issue at all in Lucid.
Missing Icons for apps:
1. Opera
2. Multiget
3. Shotwell Photo Manager
4. Gnome Do
Messaging menu status icons a little truncated.
Maybe provide a wallpaper, with the blurring of panels already done(mentioned in the README) as an option.
The shutdown icon on the panel shuld indicate red, only when a restart is reqd(after an upgrade). In normal stated, probably make that also a monochromish icon to match the rest of the panel icons.

No probs. Awesome theme.
I just mentioned this because i had extracted the tar into the Download directory and when i ran the script, it just wasn't working. So i just checked the script. |

The themes looks brilliant. The icons, metacity, panels, wallpapers all look very well integrated.
One small problem is in the empathy theme. Something seems to be going wrong, all the contact icons are huge.

You have hardcoded the directory in which the tar is gonna be unzipped in the script.
DOWNDIR="$HOME/elegant_gnome"
cd $DOWNDIR
I guess you dont need this step at all, because as mentioned you need to cd into the extracted folder and then run the script, so all the files are already in the CWD. |
