this is awesome

i love it, great for those of us who are rusty with our bash these days.

I agree
Apr 16 2009  on content Pokeball Window Border v1

It's a cute idea, but could be done a lot better. Most of us only identify the classic red and white pokeball, you should stick to that, and it a face forward view.

The pressed image for the maximize could the ball opening, while the minimize or close could be the center dot glowing red (like when they would call back pokemon in the show). You don't need to differentiate the three buttons when they're unpressed.

According to your profile you're young and new at this so don't get discouraged, this isn't a great theme, but at least something different.

PS: I love the included wallpaper and menu icon. It's the details that make a good theme great.

I really like this theme, it's a perfect match my modest and minimal desktop. Many thanks.

I would love this set up
Sep 10 2008  on content Simple Desktop Mockup

This would look great with just clear looks theming it. I personally have been doing just a top bar for a few years now and love it. I'm a bit too much of a minimalist for a preview section to be my taste though.

The thing that's really holding us back from doing stuff like this is Gnome Panel. After YEARS of minimal upgrades it still...

- can't reside below windows (so a design like this would suck when a window is full screened).
- has no real width control except "expand" and "don't expand".
- has those stupid little gray nubs at the sides when it's not expanded.

Spectacular

I've played around with other wallpapers the the same concept of being a translucent png, but none of them have even come close to how nice this one is.

Setting two colors to a vertical gradient matches the positioning of design perfectly. Mines currently set at the first color being #F8B267 and the second being #777E93. It pulls very different colors togeather really well.

Very cool
Dec 20 2007  on content ubuntu go

This is a great take on the icon, it would be great if Ubuntu would work this in on a theme, they really do need to update the default look.
