Yes, the cancel button is useless. The Apply button do the calculation stoping the animation. |

I think that by 'another os' the poll meant 'another os' where the application is not yet ported too. Of course it didn't meant any of the os where the application can already run. |

The highlight and filtering is planned for version 0.3.0 as shown in the roadmap: http://pupeno.com/fs/fiacvi/roadmap
The poping up was not planned, but it's a good idea.
I think I'll implement a generic action system, where acording to a regexp (or simple expression) you can choose to ignore, highlight, pop up, run a program, etc, etc. |

Personally, I would like KOffice to be available for other popular platforms/os so, I could just send my kwd files and tell them (if you want to open them download KOffice). The best I can do by now, is do the same but with OpenOffice :(

I'm using kicker just because it is the default thing that comes with KDE and I am to lazy to compile another thing and install it (as it doesn't seem to be something 'easily replazable').
But I think there are a lot of better things out there and a lot of nice improvements. It'll be nice if those improvements end up in kicker... merged with kicker. |

That is... where is it worth to make a KDE event... personally, I'm located in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I wouldn't have trouble to go to msot of the places in the south of southamerica. |
