I just installed debian deb packages. I was under the impression that it was just standard KDE CVS, but i guess it's possible that the guy making the packages has tweaked them a bit... |

Yep. that's the new kicker. You can change its opacity. Unfortunately, you can't change the opacity of individual kickers.
In my screenshot, i wanted to have a transparent bottom kicker, and a solid top kicker. Unfortunately atm you've got to have both or neither...
So in my screenshot the top kicker is actually transparent. I had to hack the wallpaper image to make it look the kicker has a stippled background. |

Hi, i'm really sorry about that. I've had about 100 people download a corrupted file :/
I've fixed this up now, so try downloading it again.
