| Re: Re: Re: I can't install it!! Mar 13 2009 on content Aurora Gtk Engine | Ok ok ok. All works properly, I just forgot "--prefix=/usr" when doing ./configure.
Is there any way to make the scroll bars thinner?
Thanks for all! |
| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Re: Re: I can't install it!! Mar 13 2009 on content Aurora Gtk Engine | Hello again,
I did what you said.
I installed libgtk2.0-dev. Then I run ./configure and make install.
But when I try to apply the Aurora Theme, all looks like if I didn't install anything.
When I go to Appearance, select the customize button, and select Aurora as the theme, a message appears in the bottom of the list saying that aurora Gtk+ theme engine it's not installed...
What can I do?

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct way to ask that...I'm trying to customize my Ubuntu's (8.10) GDM theme and I'm looking for some software that allows me to preview my artwork before use it.
It's a little bit cumbersome to:
- Make changes.
- Make .tar file.
- Select that theme ("install") on Gnome System.
- Reboot GNOME.
- See what's wrong.
(and then repeat)
- Make changes.
- Make .tar file.
- Select...
I could go on.
Do you know if there's some software where I can see my work and refresh it as if I were making a web and seeing the result in Firefox (and refresh it by only pressing F5), you know?
Thanks a lot,
Lîtus |
