This is fantastic work. I really liked Elfin2, but was having to edit the gtkrc file to increase the readability of fonts, especially in openoffice. However, this is far more polished than I could have ever achieved.

In addition to choosing slightly better colours that provide better contrast on fonts, I notice that the tabs are more cleanly displayed and the background is slightly lighter, also making readability better.

Just a really nice tune-up you guys on what was a very nice first go at a darker but usable theme. I think this will be on my Debian/Fluxbot setup for quite some time.

Elfin also has a FB style, that I also think could use some improving. Hint hint. :)

Oh and I find that the 'jey' icon theme is pretty much perfect for this setup, and hash303030 in claws mail.

Thx again!

Well, that's embarassing. You're absolutely right. Another switch put everything right. Sorry to waste your time, but thanks for setting me straight.

I find the skinny ones too hard to move around so I really like that you've got the easy version.

Bug?
Nov 10 2008  on content Shiki-Colors

Hi, first, beautiful theme. I've got it on two computers now. On my laptop I tweaked the selected colour of shiki-brave to #476055. Using shiki-colours easy metacity when apps are maximized the selected colour across the top is correct, that is, the colour is my custom #476055. However, when apps are not maximized the colour reverts to default shiki-brave colour for "selected items". This is quite noticable. For the moment I am using skiki-colors metacity, which does not have this problem. Maximized or not it displays the correct custom colour.

My metacity is version 1:2.22.0-2.

Again, thank you for this extremely functional and beautiful theme.
