Re: i want linux

Try a live cd/dvd like SuSE or Ubuntu if it works and all your hardware is supported you can install the distro.
The first month is the hardest, after that month you never want to go back to windows

May 4 2005  on content Metal4kde

I fixed it with GTK-QT Engine
http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/gtk-qt
Everything is smooth now, I don't know what it is or does but I use it for 1 day now and zero crashes since then.
So me is HAPPY :-D

Greetings,

Love this theme
Apr 30 2005  on content Metal4kde

Still I use this theme becos this is the best theme I ever saw for KDE!
I want to compliment to the developer of this theme!
This theme must be a part of all distros!

KDE 3.4 Firefox
Apr 30 2005  on content Metal4kde

How do I disable the animation on the buttons?
b.t.w.
I used the last version 0.2. I played with some settings in the Style and window decoration.
Could it be that I maybe compiled it wrong? the compiling progress went fine.

Can you fix the theme so firefox doesn't crash anymore? I use SUSE 9.3

here is the log

(Gecko:9512): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter)'.
(Details: serial 2185 error_code 4 request_code 55 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
