Good idea!
A little hint:
In order to make the yellow part look more realistic, you should add a little noise spread.
Sorry i don't know how it is called in english gimp menus and my locale can't be changed so easily. |

Please make that icon set complete!
It remebers me to my beginning with linux - fvwm or fvwm2 with icons like yours...
It was so nice to leave that ugly windows 98 folder (and other) icons
behind.I can remember the nice package icons of the Redhat rpm manager :)
Today everything is so 100% designed and almost blue - more like windows. So the good old icons and CDE style is refreshingly different. It gives the good feel to have something special - a real "expensive" unix workstation... :)
I hope we all can rediscover the beauty of the good old days... |
