Re: generic solution
Oct 27 2006  on content kopete-thinklight

Changed file path to /proc/acpi/asus/mled (mail led) and strings written to file to 0 and 1, but it does not work :/

I might have made a mistake somewhere, but can't see where would it be...

generic solution
Oct 27 2006  on content kopete-thinklight

Nice idea. Would be nicer, though, if the plugin would work on non-thinkpad laptops. I'll try to make it work with my ASUS leds, which are toggled by writing to a proc-file.

Will get back to You if that will succeed ;)

cross-toolkit
Jul 27 2006  on content move window like mplayer

But this implementation would have to be toolkit-independant. I can't imagine a situation where an app using qt can be grabbed and moved, while gtk app not.

Really, users should not care about the library that an app is based on. With QtCurve theme I don't see a big difference between GTK/KDE apps. The behaviour should stay consistent as well.

Jul 27 2006  on content OBEX Send to Phone

I haven't tested this script yet, as I currently have no S60 phone. It should arrive today. However the command used in the service menu worked from command line before ;)

Re: Strange BUG
Jul 1 2006  on content QtCurve (KDE4, KDE3, & Gtk2 Theme)

Happens with me also. Was OK with 0.35.1

Using QtCurve 0.38, KDE 3.5.3, Xorg 7.1 on Gentoo Linux

Re: diamond crush
May 24 2006  on content Diamond Crush

The problem is, even if this game is free, it is not related to KDE in any way (ie. does not have KDE user interface, is not based on QT/KDE libraries).
Such games could be added to happypenguin.org, but kde-apps.org is not a good place for them.

Looks like a commercial spam-like message. Not connected to KDE/QT at all

Re: Re: Interesting
Mar 11 2006  on content Media Tag Tools

I personally think that adding 'k' to every KDE application is really childish. It's something OS X developer's do, and it would get better without it.
For me program's name could explain its functionality. For that reason the name you chose is great.

Looking forward to see 'Mail' instead of 'kMail', 'IM' instead of 'Kopete' and so on...
