I'm having the same problem, though I haven't solved it yet :(
I believe I did what you did:
Downgrade imlib2 AFTER digikam was installed.
I still get only a black screen when trying to view an image :( |

When I try to compile Konverter (and most other KDE programs) I am told that /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.la is missing. I am running Mandrakelinux 10.0 with latest NVidia drivers.
I have tried to copy all libGL.*-files from /usr/lib/ to /usr/X11R6/lib/, and then the programs compile fine, but when I shut down X the fonts are totally distorted.
Any suggestions..? |

Now I have it up and running,and it looks good :) However, a system tray and perhaps a desktop switcher would be nice if it's supposed to replace the use of Kicker..? |

I really like Digikam, 0.6 RC2 with its plugins is great!
However, there's something I find a little odd; I wanted to test the "transform to black & white"-function, and it worked nicely, but the pictur was saved like this without asking me, in other words, the original image was lost.. |

Can someone explain how I can change the size of the MSN Display Picture in Kopete 0.8 RC2? It's about 1x1cm, a little too small when I don't wear my contact lenses.. ;) |

This program is great!
Much easier than using a large database program and much better than using spreadsheets.
However, it would be even better if it could use CDDB or something to retrieve CD (and DVD, if possible) information and if it had the ability to display cover images. |
