This is a known limitation of some compositors such as compiz and, as I now see, openbox. They don't render shadows behind translucent parts of windows, so you see this as light borders when background is light and almost correct rounding when shadow appears invisible because of dark background. Try kwin, and you'll not have this problem :) Or just disable shadows for popup windows. |

You don't need kdelibs5-dev to build oxygen-gtk.
Also, you could just install libgtk-3-dev - it has all the dependencies which cmake checks for, including libcairo2-dev and libx11-dev.
This might be not a good idea to put into INSTALL file, because the instructions generally depend on the distro. |

Most likely settings daemon interferes with your choice. I have no such problem, i.e. twf looks OK with themes like Simple and Glossy while other desktop is using oxygen-gtk. |

We do support this version, it's 2.24.0 as said in original post. Just need some fixes to disable building inner shadows code at all (it requires 2.24.2).
Though it's strange that build failed, since the function is available since 2.22. |
