It would be great to have MS Office Communicator support in Kmess. No other KDE IM client provides this yet.
It has been around as part of libpurple library from Pidgin for quite sometime.

Thanks, I thought so too. KDE proxy module has been ignore since 4.0, i believe. This is making both Konqueror and rekonq unattractive for me ... i use KDE as my primary desktop at work and nothing really works without proxy! |

If there is one thing rekonq (and KDE4 in general) need to give love to is proxy settings.
As of now, only manual proxy settings are reliable (in KDE.) Automatic proxy URL does not work.
For example, even with the latest rekonq, using a proxy, the thumbnails on the new tab do not update. The progress circle goes on turning in all of them. Without proxy, it works fine.
