Download and unpack the win deco you like and have a look at the README or INSTALL file. Mostly you will find a "how to install". |

My version of creating KTH-Files:
1: Setup your desktop: backgrounds, colors, icons, sounds, win-deco, style ...
2: Start KThememanager via KControl, section "Appearance -> Design"
3: Choose the button "Create new Design" and follow the wizard
4: A new theme file with "your_theme_name.kth" is aviable in "~/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/Themes"

You are right, the design is not created with respect to usability. It is more a creativ early version for a few people.
More will coming soon (icons, a win-deco... perhabs), but the main feeling will not be changed. The very similar look of the icons is a part of the global feeling of the theme in my opinion. |

I have a question. Is it possible to change the image of the log-out screen? In KDE 3.4 it is a sleeping konqui. I did not find it in $KDE/share or other directories. |

I restart the KDE session after changing the icon set. There are more icons not changed by changing the icon set. (desktop menu ....) |
