| Soften gradients?

This theme is beautiful, and I'm definitely going to use it for a while. However, would you consider giving the gradients on the title bars and buttons (especially on the task bar) a little less contrast? It doesn't need to be a big change, but the text is a little hard to read at first glance right now.
Aside from that, it's great.

The work on the window decoration looks great-- I can't wait until it's usable. Maybe give the gradient a little less contrast? Then it will be easier to read the text and appear more naturally rounded. |

A great theme so far. Could the "mouseover" highlight around the name of each menu appear recessed instead of raised? And the menus themselves still need some work-- perhaps a recessed gradient highlight, instead of a solid color. (And could the menu itself have a slight gradient?)
My only other suggestion would be making the title bars more like QNiX-- put a vertical line to the right of the top left button, and keep the horizontal lines at the top and bottom on the inactive title bar. (Not sure if this is how Photon does it or not, but I liked it from QNiX...)
Anyway, great job-- we _definitely_ needed a QNiX port to KDE 3. Thanks! |
