I agree, however I do still use some icons on my desktop for working on projects. My desktop acts as kind of a place holder or "table top" for projects. I also use the menu systems and kicker built into kde. This background also looks much better when using "Blending" so its not so dull.

Yeah, I use the redish space for temporary files. And the black for stuff that Stays on my desktop. I might come out a few others, I just have to spend a little more time on them.

Thanks, I really wanted to spend more time on the flag, but I started wanting to add more and more, After a while I figured less is more in this case. Maybe next time i'll use sprites from the tux-lemmings game.
