Re: No
Dec 28 2005  on content Beauty of Darkness

Please folks, excuse Goduser - he knows not what he's doing. I prefer the darkness of night in which to sleep and am thankful for such. Besides, it would be difficult to distinguish between things without the variances of light and dark - also known as shades (white and black are not colors, they shades of each other).

Anyway ... very good theme - thanks for producing and posting it !

No darkness here :(
Sep 16 2005  on content The Dark Penguin

Got the file, extracted, installed new theme(.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes/TDP) via kcontrol, but there is no preview nor does it make changes when pressing Apply. Using KDE 3.4.1 - would like very much to use. Please assist me.
Thank you.

After extracting your files - open Control Center (not MCC but the one to customize your desktop). From there go to Appearance and Themes, then Theme Manager, next click Install New Theme. From that place navigate to where you extracted the KTH file and choose that KTH file. Finally, pick "Orange for fun" from the list and Apply.

Sorry - forgot to mention:
You asked how to use the KTH. It is written in instructions at the web page top:

* After downloading the .gz file, extract all files in the directory you want, then "right click" on .kth file and "install..".

a KTH is a theme file. They are binary.

Trust me, your English exceeds my German ! Thank you for taking the time to reply and I appreciate your work.

Fresh air !

A *very* nice change of pace from the unending themes of various "blue" styles. Thank you.

BTW, rather than chosing "Styles" I found it in "Themes". Go figure.

Jun 30 2005  on content [Gentoo - Ebuild] KDE Color Schemes

Did you get it to work then? I had a pile of errors of not being able to download certain schemes ("not found")- including 19202 ... emerge would abort at that point.
