it's already an awesome peace of software, but please include these two features soon:
1) shortening with private / own wespace tool from http://yourls.org/ or better an easy way to write new plugins for shortening providers.
2) global unified view: all dms, tweets, mentions etc. in one timeline.

but it's still not working...
my DNS-Settings are correct, I'm pretty sure. I also think it's a kind of timeout as the prog isn't using any ressources before it breaks down... Does KatchTV need a direct internet correction? Because i'm behind a http(s)-proxy as i use the internet connection of my school. What ports does KatchTV need opened? And to which servers? Would be nice to know, so I could config our proxy and routers the right way ;-)
Hint: The program should give more detailed and "noob-friendly" error messages...

Hey! Reeaaaaally coool and pretty fast, also on my overloaded P3 laptop... Nice work!
But one thing: Copy & Paste doesn't work as it does in Konsole. right-click -> paste is fine, but Shift+Ins prints "~2" and that's it...
could u fix that with your next release? |

I conclude w/t you. Esspecially when it comes to the part "Oh, the user might be too stupid for that, let's hide it..." This sounds like GNOME-developing, doesn't it?
Another thing i hate ist the "System Settings" Replacement of kcontrol (dunno if it comes with others distros than kubuntu too). It's just a unneccesary reducing of abilitites. kcontrol might be complicated for noobs, right. But why don't allow noobs to learn? |
