Hi,
i managed to install powersave and kpowersave on gentoo here, but kpowersave has to be started as root to be able to connect to the powersave daemon. What must I change to run it as user?
Furthermore the autosuspend feature doesn't work. I also tried it when kde runs as root, but no go.
Any suggestion?

Hi,
nice skript. But I do have a problem.
My system is utf8 encoded and I do mount my mp3 player with the option iocharset=utf8.
Unfortunately the filename encoding is changed by your skript so every special character (like german umlauts, french accents etc.) gets garbled.
How can that be changed?

The modified sources is a .deb package. Can you please provide the modified sources. I had no success here with F4L-BETA-0.2.tar.bz2 from sourceforge.
And can please follow a standard naming sheme.f4l-0.2_beta*.tar.bz2.
This will make package creation under gentoo more easy.

the ebuild you provide on your homepage is in a wrong (doc) file format. This will cause the ebuild to fail with 'ebuild XXX.ebuild digest'.
Please change it to plain text format.
