I'm pretty sure it'd be the same as in Gnome.
sudo cp starcraft /usr/share/sounds |

Ah! I found out what the problem was. I had to switch my shell to Bash. I was using the Perl Shell before, the global scalars in psh aren't recognized the same way as in Bash. Right! It works now and I must say it is an impressive piece of work. |

Yes, I unpacked the archive on the desktop, cd'd into gnomenu, then "sudo make install"'d it. |

How do I install GnoMenu2? I don't know how it was in 1.x, but when I do "sudo make install" in the gnomenu folder on my desktop, it sets up the files locally, not within the system, so anyone that says "Well now it's installed, lol!" is total crock.(-odile)
I've right clicked on the bar and GnoMenu doesn't show in "add to panel". Is there a place for me to put those files so it'll work? The only .deb file I could find was for 1.x. =/ |
