Forum bug!
Sep 9 2004  on Discussion

In this thread (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=16053)
the post that appears to be made by me at 4:18 is really by xsos. For some weird reason it appears to be posted from my account but it isn't.
For your knowledge I made another post at about the same time as xsos made this one.

Awesome wallpaper for an awesome distro ;)

I'd recommend you to take a look at the Linspire wallpaper contest over at deviantART!

3.0 in Linspire
May 24 2004  on poll What KDE version are you using?

I use 3.0, since that's the current version in Linspire. I also have 3.2.2 on my debian partition but I very much prefer Linspire's own KDE 3.0 desktop over "plain" 3.2.
Next version of Linspire ships with KDE 3.2 and a completely new theme all through the OS, made by no less than Everaldo and Ingo in co-operation!

As a Linspire insiders I'll get my hands on a 5.0 beta in just a few days, so KDE 3.2 is closing up on me... ;)

CAD app, great!
Jan 16 2004  on content Fandango

A CAD app is badly needed for KDE. That's one of those applications missing today.

Good luck!

Re: Re: Slow file ma
Sep 17 2003  on poll Speed of KDE 3.1 (be fair, read the comment first)

Problem with your reasoning is that the quantity of programs loaded into ram in background really shouldn't affect responsiveness. To give an example - in KDE graphical file management is slow no matter how slim your system is, while otoh BeOS will stay responsive even under heavy load.Oh, and btw - even Windows 2003 beats KDE in this matter.
