The download works now but it would be preferable that the script asks where to install vditool instead of giving no option but /usr/bin. I prefer to put all my non-distribution supplied files in /usr/local/bin so that they are not lost during an upgrade.
The script still fails to run though. The console output is:
[dean@orac Kommander Scripts]$ kmdr-executor kvditool.kmdr
Executable VBoxManage found in path: /usr/bin
Executable VBoxManage found in path: /usr/bin
Executable vditool found in path: /usr/bin
Executable vditool found in path: /usr/bin
Executable vditool found in path: /usr/bin
Executable vditool found in path: /usr/bin
Executable vditool found in path: /usr/bin
The script message box says:
VirtualBox is installed
Vditool is available
Failed to install vditool properly. Please check the status of vditool in a console.
I have checked that vditool does work in a console. |

Script also fails if vditool is already installed on the system somewhere like /usr/local/bin.
The line
kv_vditool_test = exec(_kv_vditool_path + " >> /dev/null; echo $?;")
Is never going to work because _kv_vditool_path consists of a series of directory names and not the vditool executable. |

The script tries to download vditool from "/home/Desktop/vditool", which is never going to work |
