eh guys, try and make some more non-wallpaper content for kde-look please! when i look at the 10 newest things there is only one non-wallpaper item, and that is too bad.
(in order to do something about that i started development on a widget style and window decoration a week ago, expect it to appear soon as it's almost finished) |

but how about contributing to the wine project to make adobe photoshop run under linux? then we have all the stuff in a user friendly package (and wine runs just great under kde :) ) |

have you tried compiling X with CFLAGS="-O3 -march=i686" and the rest of the optimization options?
I only have a mid-class pc with a linux installation that was compiled from scratch (including x and kde3.1 cvs) but it runs extremely fast (compared to suse8 which i've tried before) |
