I am curious: How have you achieved the 'start-button' on kicker? |

...look at kde-look most often. Why? Because non-kde percentage was 10% and now is 5% and kde3 percentage was 15% and now is 25%.

anyway, extract your *.tar.gz and copy the folder to ~/.kde/share/icons |
