Hey, I tried your update of TG on my ubuntu laptop, and guess what, I have the same problem I described you about my gentoo box, it doesn't apply your icons for others applications like openoffice, gaim, inkscape..
Only Gnome and firefox are themed. |

Well, I unmerged gnomesu, remerged gksu, libgksu and sudo to be sure i wasn't missing a specific library - and it was the case for sudo.
I configured sudo, i granted my user account all privileges to run all commands.
Well, that doesn't still work on my gentoo box. I remember that in the last version, the first time i launched TG, i had a dialog-box asking my root password.
Anyway, just so you know, that's really a great job you did. |

Still on my gentoo box, it appears it doesn't ask the root password as before.
So impossible to install the special tango package, gaim, openoffice, etc

By the way, how did you do to solve the emblems position issue? That's a thing I still haven't figure out, there is not that much documentations about that. |

Just to precize, like Schmolch, i'm runnin g an up to date gentoo with the 2.4.4 version of python..
If it can help, i had the impression it didn't get all the 223 custom icons, maybe a problem of fetching, na? |

Seriously, I don't get it how to do it. I put Tango-Unabashed high up in the list, and it doesn't work.
Can you tell me the exact order of the packages to get the emblems in the bottom right of the icons?

Ok, I figured out the problem on the gentoo box, I had some issues with the permissions of the gaim folder and its content in /usr/share/pixmaps. |
