Yes, I have the same problem on Ubuntu, icons like Gimp, root-terminal, gnomebaker-48.png dont want to be replaced if changing the theme |

Wow, your theme is improving so fast, it is defenitely the best icon theme here.
I just have few icons missing (I use Ubuntu, maybe it is due to the different names it uses...maybe you could just put a renamed copy of some already existing ones - it takes so long to do it manually after every update):
gucharmap.png, gnome-eog.png, gnome-ghostview.png, download.png (Bittorrent),
gnome-gnumeric.png, gnome-settings-default-applications.png, bug-buddy.png, gstreamer-properties.png, screensaver.png, gnome-dev-keyboard.png, hwbrowser.png,
users.png, gnochm.png, amule.xpm, lyx.png, gnome-mixer.png, gnome-nettool.png,
gksu-root-terminal.png, gnome-settings-accessibility-technologies.png,
Ubuntu uses different names for Openoffice icons, for example:
ooo_web.png --> ximian-openoffice-web.png
Also in Synaptic the only icon missing is "Mark all Upgrades"
Could you please change the color for the gaim and bmp icons, to make them match the firefox/evolution icons in the gnome panel? Your green-silver colors look very nice!

Thank you for the maybe best theme out here... very destinctive
Matches my Ubuntu Human theme really perfectly.
Just a suggestion, the Gaim icon looks too small in the Gnome panel, compared with firefox, evolution...
Also would be nice if you could create some e.g. Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse logos as replacement for the gnome foot. Maybe you could put them in an extra folder for those that wish it. Ok, your gnome icon looks really good, but i have my own two to put one more on my desktop
Also a gimp, inkscape, lyx, ps-viewer icon, root-terminal, as well as some replacement for the ugly default gnome applet icons such as netstatus, battery status, volume control would be nice.
The bmp-icon's color looks not really nice in the gnome panel, near of the lighter firefox and evolution.

Improvement over standard? Actually there are new Lyx icons for the at the Lyx-dev page, which look nice and match KDE not bad. i think they will appear in the new version 1.4. And your lyx will look just like this: http://www.lyx.hu/news/
For now, since they are still not in 1.3.6 you can just download them from http://www.lyx.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/lyx-devel/lib/
and put into your HOME/name/.lyx/images folder and you have a much nicer looking lyx interface. |
