| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Menu Show Delay Aug 7 2008 on content QtCurve (KDE4, KDE3, & Gtk2 Theme) | PLEASE! Is there a way to add a "Menu Show Delay" to this style? It's totally possible since the Serenity style can do it. QtCurve would be the 100% best (with Serenity a close second) style. The instant show menu thing is impossible to navigate. It's SO much easier with a delay.
For instance, If I'm going through the K menu, and I slip off "Internet" and hit "Graphics" the Graphics menu shows instantly and the Internet menu disappears. The Serenity theme has a configurable amount of time before the Internet menu would disappear allowing me to put my cursor back on it with out activating the Graphics menu.
I'm trying to be as descriptive as I can in text... :-) |
| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Re: GPL? Nov 23 2007 on content wine icon | Partly for that reason I've been using Slashdot's "Broken Window" topic icon for Windows (Cedega/WINE) files.
This is a nice icon, but you start running into the decision of "How much Microsoft licensed stuff do you REALLY want on your machine?".
For me, "As little as possible". Microsoft doesn't make Jedi Academy ( the main reason I use Cedega), so I'm pretty much in the clear.

| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Re: Re: Re: dead link:Clique ... Nov 15 2007 on content Gnome Green Icon Pack for KDE | Well, I don't know what to tell you other than nothing's changed. It's a small html page that *IS* the tar-ball:
$ ls -sh EyeCandy/Icons/Gnome-Green.tar.gz
12K EyeCandy/Icons/Gnome-Green.tar.gz
$ file -k EyeCandy/Icons/Gnome-Green.tar.gz
EyeCandy/Icons/Gnome-Green.tar.gz: HTML document text
Change the extension and open it in your favorite browser. It's the same "Clique AQUI para prosseguir" page.
-------------------------
Perhaps it's because you have a cookie on your machine saying you're a logged in admin user? It's just a thought. If that's not the case. there's something really wrong with the hosting.
Anyway, it looks REALLY nice, and as I say above, it's *SO* nice to get away from all the damn blue icons and decorations. |

| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Re: dead link:Clique ... Nov 13 2007 on content Gnome Green Icon Pack for KDE | It's true. The page feeds you a tar.gz file, but:
$ file -k Gnome-Green.tar.gz
Gnome-Green.tar.gz: HTML document text
It just the same HTML page that we click. That file is not there (or whatever the server thinks is going on). |
| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | Broken Link Nov 2 2007 on content Gnome Green Icon Pack for KDE | Yea, the DL link is down. I *really* want to see this set on my machines because I am VERY VERY tired of all the damn blue icons out there... (and the silver / gray ones don't go with the Keramik Emerald color theme I like).
I hope this gets fix soon. |
