The interface is still something out of the 90s and drawing is unpredictable and abysmal at best.
The manual is badly out of date in that the program doesn't function as the manual states is ought to.
The supported commercial version is at 2.2 while the "community" version is still at 2.0.
Forget it, is the best thing. |

Quite the load of dependencies here.
Everything seems to work fine on the configure file until:
configure:31537: result: no
configure:31543: error: We need a working libXext to proceed. Since configure
can't find it itself, we stop here assuming that make wouldn't find
them either.
The only problem is that there is a working libXext on my box. And it's on the path. So, I'm left to conclude that it may be the wrong one.
I am not a n00b though I must admit to having little or no luck with Themes due to restrictive compilations or dependencies or deprecated libraries or whatever.
Too bad. This looks very cool.
It is stuff like this that gives Linux a bad name. Themes should be posted precompiled and in .theme files. |

I've used KMail and then Kontact for years without a problem. Then, following an update in the spring I keep getting erroros on every POP3 and IMAP server that it's "unable to comlete LIST opeartion".
This seems to be an old problem dating back to 2001 which raises it's ugly head occassionally but has never been fixed.
Sadly, because I do like it, Kontact is now utterly useless to me and I can't find a word of help or even acknwodlegemnt of a probem.
Does no one support this??????
