Re: Re: Re: Re: missing
Feb 8 2006  on poll How do you launch your apps mostly?

to come back to the topic: why isn't there a "katapult" option in the poll as it is kde's new super cool launching application. it's just like the alt+f2 dialog but has better autocompletion, more features and looks cooler. also alt+space is much more convenient to hit than alt+f2.

Yeah, katapult rules.
And its more than just an autocompletion as the alt+f2 dialog does. For examle if you type "Query" katapult starts "Mysql Query Browser". The run dialog doesn't do that. You can also open bookmarks or calculate with katapult.
I'm loving it.

build error
Sep 10 2005  on content kdesvn

when doing "make" i get this error:

In file included from svnlogdlgimp.cpp:20:
svnlogdlgimp.h:23:23: svnlogdlg.h: No such file or directory

"./configure" runs without errors.

any suggestions?

moon texture
Jan 2 2005  on content KDE moon (KDE SVG)

hmm, i dont really like the texture of the moon. it doesn't look like a moon coverd with craters, but more like a moonish kind of earth.

maybe the texture shouldn't be that sharp and edgy. it has to bee more round and smoother. not the best description of what i am thinking ;-) , but take a image search for moon on google and see what i mean.

Dec 29 2004  on content Geared Globe (kde svg)

i wanted to keep things as simple as possible. making the gear 3d would be to complex, i think.
i am also not an expert in making 3d objects with inkscape ;)

Dec 24 2004  on content KDE SVG Future Town

the new version with the gear gate looks really cool!!
but there is once again a typo.
"enviroment" should be "environment". ;)

and what about making things a bit transparent so that everyone can choose his favourite colors by changing his backgroundcolors?

Re: colors
Dec 24 2004  on content Gear Flakes (kde svg)

i am going to release it transparent, so everybody can choose his favourite colors.
(however, i think blue and yellow fit just well. ;-))

fresh
Dec 20 2004  on content KDE SVG klassical gear

this gear looks really fresh, but (yes, there is a but ;) ) a real kde gear has 8 cogs, not 10!

First of all: Thanks for your comment.

but i don't know, what you exactly mean. do you think of some kind of sunbeams as seen in e.g. this picture http://www.norbert-riedl.de/Nature/Sonnenaufgaenge/Sonnenstrahlen.jpg that i found with google? this might look really cool.

maybe you can show me a picture of what you are thinking of.
