Re: Re: Great
Dec 15 2011  on content obs-generator

I've updated the list of supported distros to the recent ones, but I don't have much time to work on this anymore. Given the number of complains about the list being out of date, there presumably aren't many users of this anyway :-/.

Re: Are you using kdelibs?
Oct 7 2011  on content Kor Testudo Shell

The entry says in depends on KDE4.x, so it indeed does use kdelibs. Plasma libs can are used to optionally load Plasma applets (since there are only few native ones and Plasma ones generally more or less work for me).

I don't know WindowMaker, so I have no idea. It is not listed among the window managers supporting the EWMH spec, so there might be trouble, but I can't really say more than that you need to try and see.

Re: What's the idea ?
Jun 15 2010  on content Kor Testudo Shell

The idea is that
- it just does the job of simply running commands, which I can't quite say about KRunner, as it has a number of annoying problems (granted, those are simply bugs, but nevertheless it's annoying)
- I'm more used to the KDE3 dialog and dislike the fact that the KRunner dialog looks like no other dialog
- I was curious and wanted to try it
- it is simply an alternative
- it is only 0.1.1 (but who says I'm stopping there)

Binary packages
Mar 15 2010  on content KShutdown

I wonder what is the point of providing obsolete packages for old distributions and even saying so. You can quite easily package KShutdown (http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/4177). In fact, since I have actually already packaged KShutdown in home:llunak:kde, you could have it even simpler, you could just add that OBS info to the kde-apps.org information about the package, the setup has already been done by me and now it's only a matter of version updates, which is pretty trivial.

Re: Debian packages?
Mar 6 2010  on content obs-generator

That's exactly it. There is no support for Debian, since the OBS has only Debian releases and none of those is capable of building KDE4 apps. And it could be solved by creating a build repository with Debian's KDE4 packages imported, wherever Debian uses get them from, and building against this on top of a Debian release.

If you would be interested in this, I suggest asking on the opensuse-buildservice@opensuse.org mailing list (http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate/Mailinglists#Development_Lists).

You are my hero :)
Jan 2 2010  on content Klassik

I have packaged the theme in the Build Service, repository home:llunak:kde, package plasma-theme-klassik, you can add them to the package list. I can also give you a maintainer there if you'd be interested.

I have one bugreport and one wishlist item.
- KRunner has strange black border when running without desktop effects, I assume the non-transparent background needs fixing.
- I'm used to even more classic :) look, with taskbar items having all borders and the active one being highlighted by using bold font. Would it be possible to get this as an option too?
