I just checked konversation source, and it seems pretty straigtforward: check "Application::openUrl" at http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/network/konversation/src/application.cpp?revision=1011927&view=markup

What you say about scripted plugins may be right, I don't remember having tried other scripted plugins. It's probably a plasma bug.

Modal configuration window
Aug 26 2009  on content gmail-plasmoid

Another problem I'm seeing, and that doesn't happen with other plasmoids, is that while the configuration window is open, I can't interact with KDE desktop.

I can alt+tab to other windows and interact with them, but I can't, for example, select a window in the taskbar, or open the K menu.

It would be nice having this plasmoid using KDE's default browser by default (and another program as an option), and not just "firefox %u".

Most people will probably want to use the same browser everywhere, so having a global browser configuration makes way more sense.

This is how konversation does it: http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/4324/konvbrowser.png

Some issues
Dec 27 2007  on content Destick

What's the point of limiting the BPM to 200? For example Master of Puppets is played at 220... there is no point in limiting the BPM so much. I think in Gtick you can select the maximun and the minimun BPM you want.

Also, the way to set manually the BPM is not very intuitive, and if the program is playing, the speed doesn't update until you hit enter. And again, if you click at more than 200bpm and hit enter, the program starts to play at 200 but the display shows that it's playing at the speed you have set. IIRC in Gtick there is a "tap" button making it more intuitive.

Also, in Gtick it's more confortable to set the beat and the accent with less clicks (checkboxes instead of dropdown menus)

I'm sorry If I seem to be advertising Gtick :P I was just thinking about what I don't like in destick and realized that Gtick does it right (for me)

system:/ paths
Nov 23 2007  on content kFlickr

Very nice app, but it would be even nicer if it supported paths in system:/ format.

In ArchLinux, when you browse your home folder, you are placed under system:/home/ by default, and it's really annoying to have to change to /home/user to upload a photo
