What I did to replace the folder icon using Dolphin in KDE 4 was to:
Right click on the folder.
Select Properties.
A new window will open and from there click on the folder icon on the top left side of the window.
Another window will appear. Click on other icons, then press browse and select the new icon. |

I tried reloading the friend list and got the same message.
I have direct messages from people I do not longer follow and they don't follow me either. Do you think that is the source of this error? |

I'm getting this message "Retrieving the friends list failed.The data returned from the server is corrupted."
I'm using 2 twitter accounts on Choqok and I get that error on both.
What can it be done to solve this issue?

I was happy too soon =(
It works when I select preview but the screen will go black if I leave the PC unattended. |

Install the deb package from the download page. Then do:
sudo cp /usr/share/applnk/System/ScreenSavers/kmatrix3d.desktop /usr/share/kde4/services/ScreenSavers/kmatrix3d.desktop
Finally edit the file with:
kdesudo kate /usr/share/kde4/services/ScreenSavers/kmatrix3d.desktop
From this:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Exec=kmatrix3d.kss
Icon=kscreensaver
Type=Application
