You're absolutely right, the "old-fashioned" default wallpapers of KDE are way too... boring? ugly? I can't describe my feelings when I see them, but I think they're just a waste of harddisk space. We need more beautiful, full-screen photographs.
But on the other hand, a wallpaper contest doesn't make any sense for me. The KDE developers can simply pick the best one of kde-look.org's wallpaper section, using the "highest rated" or "most downloads" info. Another section for a contest would just pollute the whole site with more not-so-nice wallpapers...
Just my 0.02 EUR. :-) |

Good speed with using Kumula Cases! If you have some ideas for minor improvements, post them here and I'll try to make them real. Major improvements (e.g. time recording) will be done after porting it to Kumula2/PyQt4...
If you want you can send me Romanian definitions for case types and record types, so I can add them here... |

Hi polrus, thanks for your proposal. I will port all Kumula application to PyQt4 first (as soon as it's available), and after that I will implement central localization functions to them.
After that, I'll be happy about every translator, so I'll get back to you! :-) |

The idea is excellent (and the screenshots even more), but I see no needs for making a special application for this. If you're an enterprise server admin, install a jabber server, and the users can take Kopete to chat with each other...
And I'd be very glad if Kopete for KDE4 looks like this... :-) |

Yes, it IS Tahoma, but when it looks awful on your computer, play with your anti-aliasing settings. Anyway, the shadow comes from the "Active Heart" theme, which can be found at kde-look.org (or just "emerge activeheart" when using Gentoo). |
