Well, as it happened to Oxygen plasma theme - the light one would be better. The dark color doesn't look that optimistic and people might not like it. The lighter wallpaper would be quite nice. Something rather simple. Maybe make a contest on *-look.org? |

Would be really nice. otoh, i'm not that wealthy to afford any of suchdevices in the nearest future. I had to earn money for several months to buy my current Eee 900 and i doubt i'll have any financing to upgrade it (i hope my SSD won't die in nearest couple of years).
But as for internet tablet - what DE to chose? Which tablet to use to besure the chosen DE would run more or less smoothly?
Such questions should be checked long before any activity into that direction, IMHO.
But the overall idea sounds quite nice :) |

Do they really like plasmoids? or am i missing something?
I saw that in Qt Creator there're some clasees that start with 'K' - KServer - wouldn't they interfere with existing KDE framework?
And yeah, it's cool that you've made them, but wouldn't you like to join the Plasma team better? Or at least help KDE on Windows developers with porting Plasma? That'd help them a lot. |

I'm from KDE on Windows team. I tried to compile kflickr on windows and... succeeded! :) Only issue was the missing linux/limits.h. I just commented that out, though
#ifndef _WIN32
would be better. keep up the good work :) |

I know, it sounds quite annoying, but is there any hope that we'll get the plasmoid from it? :)
It'd be nice. And it'd be for both KDE3 and KDE4 users (providing that you'll be still updating/supporting your this kicker applet) :) |

Could be one of several elements that help Gnome people adopt to KDE4, or use both GNOME and KDE4 without much visual difference :)

So, what have you changed so far? Clocks? They look nice, i should admit - simple and clean.
The panel seems to be somewhat Vistaish (or am i too paranoid?). Just at the beginning of a new KDE4 era we don't really need those yet-another-Vista/Mac-clone-theme. Really, respect the community. Of course, you're free to do them, and free to cone things, but it's not really good. It's time to invent, not to copy.
But for the start - nice beginning. Wish you more downloads and pluses ;-) |
