Still getting error :-( From what I understand from your script you use

/usr/share/xplanetFX/xplanetFX.conf

as a default if there is no initial configuration. The workaround I suggest in this case is you use another variable e.g.

DEFAULTCONFIG=$WORKDIR"/xplanetFX.conf"

and you substitute line 298 with

cp $DEFAULTCONFIG $USERDIR

With this modifications xplanetFX works flawlessly out of the box (at least for what I can test :-)

Keep up the good work!
Cheers, Paolo

Thanks! I also like to suggest you to change any reference to /home/$USER in your script with ${HOME} since not everybody's home is under /home (mine is not ;-) and when this happens the script cannot find the configuration file and raises a lot of errors.

Did I told you I really like this program? :-)

A bit off-topics, I know :-) Which font / gtk theme are you using in the screenshots? Thanks!

...getting bloated
May 17 2005  on poll What do you like least about KDE?

After all the time spent to switch on every KDE bell and whistle I got into an ascetical crisis and switched to fluxbox.

I'm still using (the often optimal) KDE apps sometimes, especially konqueror for all the sites that simply doesn't render with any other browser ;) But just try to start it from outside KDE: it took lots of time until kde3.3 and now it takes even more with 3.4.

The net result is that I should upgrade my computer just to have the - same - usability: the main reason I don't use windoze.

The main reason I'm not going to use KDE anymore as my window manager.

Sep 26 2004  on content Cezanne Icon Theme

Actually I have my pc - at work - set at 1280x1024 (icons size at 48x48) but I also have a 14 inch monitor at home (being my only pc for a long time) and I think most of your work would pass unobserved when using smaller icons ;-)
But I know, in the latter case, I'm one of the 6% users that sets his desktop below 1024x768 ;-D

Readability issues
Sep 24 2004  on content Cezanne Icon Theme

I like this icons very much. The only drawback I could see is that the emblems on the various icons (bz2, gzip, install...) are not very readable (being "archive" on the archive.png icon the worst). Also a simpler dwg icon could be more readable at lower resolutions.
