The only software i used is inkscape, but considering the original SVG is from Dynamo, it's easy to see why it presents the very same issue with svg-cleaner and why i'm delaying to upload a lighter version :(
Yep, MDI buttons and same spared elements to go. Then i can consider to start working on the light version!

This plasmoid looks promising. If you appreciate suggestions:
- Make an optional 'menu' mode, so instead of having iconized buttons within the panel, they can be visualized from a dropdown menu activated by clicking on the title/icon (eventually support the entries from the menu button ?)
- Possibly, set a max cap for the window title (in certain apps - firefox for example - the title string can take a lot of space)
- More space between the icon and text - just for fashion (this is me being an annoying jerk :P)

Yes, making them optional is the best approach, i'll look for that.
I've few time myself too, but still can work on it during the weekend ;)
Last thing i did was to "break" the app list tab into pages, i still need to create buttons to navigate through them though.
Btw, silly question to ask, but this is the first time i'm into QML and KWin scripting: do you know any way i can force the dash to an hardcoded background instead of using the background.svg from the current plasma theme? |

Please, don't let this script die.
Recently i took a look to the code and tried to mod it myself - i removed anything related to activities, those parts were responsable of a relevant lag on kwin startup - merely aesthetics changes. I'm also trying to introduce workspaces support (yes: it's not original, but more functional. Design fact: less clicks to do more things == better approach).
This is the first time i'm looking to QML code, and i'm not confident with plasma QML/kwin scripting APIs either.
Right now i'm smashing my head to remove the dash background - a better approach would be to darken the desktop area, if that's possible :P
Really: don't let this die! And KUDOS for the work did so far. I read you're looking for help: i'm available. |

Kwin, if you're curious about the client side decorations: they're implemented within the Qt style i'm using. It's from the same friend(as the file manager) and i promise to not talk about both of the projects till their public release. Sorry. |
