Hi
I just installed digikam and I really like it, but I miss some features or haven't found them yet.
- It would be lovely to say, when I import some pictures to an album, if the pictures on the old position should be deleted or not. Now, I always have the pictures twice on my harddisk, which takes a lot of spaces.
- An other feature which I miss, is to compress an album, because pictures take a lot of spaces.
- There should be also a way to secure an album with a password or a digital certificat.
- I don't know if you know imgseek
But this should be also possible to search for an image like that.
What isn't so usability for me, is to delete an album. I haven't seen it on the second time. By the third time I saw: "move album to trash". After that I took a look into the kde trash, but there was nothing. So I searched for a bin in the digikam app, but I haven't found it yet. Maybe this feature doesn't work by me or isn't implemented yet. Maybe I wasn't so awake when I tried to delete an album, but I wanted to let you know it.
