Arch Linux AUR package
Sep 1 2009  on content kopete-thinklight KDE4

Hi,

I allowed myself to create a package for the Arch Linux User repository for your plugin. You can find it here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=29790

And by the way: thanks for this little but very efficient tool!

I'm VERY sorry, I forgot to answer, but it seems that you took care of it anyway. Thanks very much, this looks great and the new designs are really cool!

nicks on the left?
Apr 7 2006  on content kONE

Hey, I really like your theme. It's even better than efficient where I didn't like the fact that encrypted messages have a horizontal scrollbar bug...

now on topic: I switched yesterday from 0.11 kopete to 0.12-svn. Now I use this port of your other KOne theme and some of the new things (blue/green) I like even better. But the thing I don't like is the nick name obove the actual message and not on the left hand side where it was in your 1.1 version of 0.11-kopete-theme. Don't know if this is because you updated the other recently, but I'd love to see the nick on the left side also in this theme.

Motivation for this is: as mentioned above I use GPG-encryption with many contacts over Jabber. The way a short message is displayed now leads to four lines:

1: [lightbulbsymbol] $NICKNAMEofCONTACT
2: »
3: "Incoming encrypted Message:"
4: ACTUAL MESSAGE, OFTEN A ONE-LINER

Now, I assume that there can nothing be done for 3 (this seems to belong to crypto plugin code) and 4 (well that's the messag) and I am also pretty sure that there can nothing be done against the line break between line 2 and 3 after the » as kopete seems to create an "encrypted box". But it would be great to have at least the nickname at the left side (apart from that I like to see on the left hand "in a row", who is talking, so I don't have to look within the text).

greetings,
Hantilles

Scan to PDF
Feb 15 2006  on content KopyShop

Fantastic app! Exactly what I've been looking for. Now, you may not like this, as it would "blow up" the features of the app - I understand if you want to keep it really small - but there's another thing that I think is really useful.
Often I don't have to copy documents but want to scan them directly to a PDF document. I know I can achieve this some kind by choosing PDF File in the print dialog, but this only works for a single page. I often have to scan about two to five pages to a document and I don't like doing that on command line. So I would see such a feature as a perfect addition to the program. What do you think?

Bug: "boxed" message
Nov 27 2005  on content Efficient

Hi,

first of all, efficient is the best Kopete theme I know and it's actually quite perfect for me.
Yet I have found a bug that doesn't mean I can't use it but it is still quite annoying. I hope I get the following right so you can understand, what I mean (I'm a non-native English speaker).
To describe my problem better I put up a screenshot at:
http://phlogfile.de/kopete_efficient_bug.png

So, here I go:
The problem occurs only with highlighted messages with this blue box. As my nick is usually longer as the standard indentation. That would mean that the first line of my message starts more right hand than the following lines. As I often use GPG-encrypted messages the whole message is then sent in such an "highlighted message _box_" (the box thing is the point). As the box in your theme is exactly as wide as the window content minus the standard intendation you get such an horizontal scroll bar which isn't nice at all.
I'm afraid I'm absolutely no XSLT man so I can't fix it myself. It would be great if you could have a look at this and make the box thing not as wide. Would be great. Thanks in advance.

greetings,
Hantilles
