Sorry, i've been really busy lately. I can send you the source and the rules, so that you can compile a deb on PPC, but I don't have a PPC at hand to compile on =(.

Re: crashes

Remove the debian package and try removing all previous installations from the tarball with make uninstall or just manually delete the baghira files in /usr/local/kde/ and/or /usr/local/lib/kde3/. I have a feeling that the crashes are because of the previous install from source, since I had a problem where it used the old version of the theme, until i realised that the old version was still installed in those locations.
