LibreOffice is written in QT, not gtk3. Gnome-Shell panel is written in Clutter. With respect the dark variant, some applications are configured to use it even if you are using the light variant. |

check in terminal with " gnome-shell --version". If no gnome-shell try check the version in other applications. |

This update is for GTK 3.14. No it will have bad results. Check if your distro has already Gnome 3.14 in the repositories and install. |
