I love it! First theme that is simple and embeds nicely!
Found some artefacts with krunner and systray. I have fixed them as good as I can and added expand-buttons and a new background). I added Lancelot from slim-glow, fits in pretty good. I've also added plot-background (probably more stuff that I forgot). It's by no mean complete!
I'm not sure if you are working on this theme any more. If you want the "patch" I'll send it to you. If not I'll work on it some more and put it up myself.

hmm... it's supposed to guess your IP-address and than serve on http://<your-ip>:8080.
Which subnet does Woof default to? Which one are you using? Do you have more than one NIC?
You can try to use the original program in case I have done something dumb:

What you really wanted to know:
You can specify different defaults in two locations: /etc/woofrc and ~/.woofrc
The file in the home directory takes precedence. Sample file:
[main]
port = 8008
count = 1
ip = 127.0.0.1
compressed = true
Put the above text in a file named .woofrc in your home directory.
The above .woofrc file will serve the file once in compressed tar.gz format on localhost.
Run 'woof' from a terminal for more info.

Hi, great app!
I was planning to do an app like this myself. But as always someone smarter had already done it better!
Anyway, I was thinking of a nice feature. It would be great to be able to set some rules for when to shut down. For example when a program (or the systems) network load/transfers goes down under a set value the computer shuts down. Or if the processor load stays under 30 % for 5 minutes or if appXX uses less than 10% (eg idle) the computer shuts down.
Both changes in network load and CPU load are things that you might want the computer to "act" on. For example: I'm transcoding a DVD --> xvid and want the computer to shutdown when finished a CPU-load rule would come handy!

This can actually be used to enable control over other media players with [url=http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/ReMoot?content=63140]ReMoot[/url]. That is possible if you install ReMoot and replace the DCOP calls in the Blumote .cfg files with ReMoot commands. For example "-dcop amarok player playPause" can be replaced with "remoot playpause" and then bluemote works with all the apps supported by ReMoot.
