not right
Jun 30 2008  on content BlueSpace II

The command you have entered in for transperancy does not work right. I had no access to anything becuase the top and bottom bars wrre invisible and clicking on them to bring menus up flickered bareley and could not lanuch apps from it. and I had to go to the undercover terminal, and kill compiz and other apps from top and then come back to the desktop. It makes the windows not work and just blink. Intel GMA950.

awesome. thanks for the help and hope the tut comes soon. I would lvoe to have global audio effects. My soundcard supported them in windows and I have even downloaded other mixers that said they unlock the extras in soundcards you have never thought you had, but they did not have the 3d sound or anything else that wasn't in the default mixer applet.

Also any ways to get multiple streams of audio in linux working. I had a youtube open and xmms in the background playing a song then I paused the song, and watch the vid, then went back to my song and the message popped up and said could not open alsa. I hate that. I had to comletely close firefox to get my sound back and I had 6 windows with 50+ tabs open and it is very hard to deal with it but I need that many tabs open for my research on a day to day basis.

wish firefox had more features with it to have a quick list or soemthing and not just bookmarking then going back and forth mess.

Any good sound...
Dec 10 2007  on Discussion

Any good audio enhancing utilities to make my music sound better like surround processing or upmixing or DSPs? I don't want to use a processor on every file I just want to be able to add neat effects to sounds with apps like amarok. I know XMMS has them but I don't want to use it since it won't read my playlists for some odd reason. and they are very long PL and I cannot rebuild them for that player since they are 600 songs+ in some of them. Is there any cool audio processing plugins made or being made for amarok or any other ones that read m3u files without a hitch? I would much appreciate it! It would be ncie to have a global mixer to add the effects systemwide instead of player by player, but anything helps!

Dec 10 2007  on content Entis Cursors

I tried alot of the solutions mentioned on alot of other sites including ubuntu forums and I still cannot apply this. Any quick and dirty way to fix this the furthest I have gotten was to get it to breifly show up in firefox and firefox alone and once I minimized it went back to the white default one. Then after that when I logged out and logged back in it was the default one again even on FF. I tried usr/share/icons and all variants even /usr/share/cursors and .icons and .cursors under my home dir and no luck. and no luck using the cursor selector eaither. I am stuck with one the default black ones for now.

You must construct additional pylons!

Do you have this sound for it? it would be funny!
