Ronnie Tucker: Gorgeous Chapeau 23 Linux Distro Is Now in Beta, Based on Fedora 23 and GNOME 3.18
Vince Pooley of Chapeau Linux has had the great pleasure of announcing the release and immediate availability for download and testing of the Beta build of the future Chapeau 23 Linux operating system. Based on the recently released Fedora 23 Linux, as well as on a package from the RPMFusion of pre-release testing software repositories, Chapeau 23 Beta is derived from the Workstation edition, which means that it not only inherits all of its awesome features and functionality but also includes packages from its own repo. “Chapeau 23 is on its way, in the meantime enjoy Chapeau 23 Beta,” says Vince Pooley, lead developer of Chapeau Linux. “If you love having the latest software and don’t mind the odd issue that may crop up go ahead and check it out. If you find an undocumented issue it would be appreciated if you report it either in the support forum.” Source:http://news.softpedia.com/news/gorgeous-chapeau-23-linux-distro-is-now-in-beta-based-on-fedora-23-and-gnome-3-18-496199....

I have to admit, much to the shock of some of you, I never really stuck with Sublime, despite a few attempts. As some of you will know, this coming week I start at GitHub as Director of Community. Like many, when I was exploring GitHub as a potential n...

Sometimes this comes about due to peer pressure or the feeling of isolation, in other cases it is the frustration of the user interface or the realization that they can't run cool apps like Lumicall. Frequently, the user has been given the phone as a complimentary upgrade when extending a contract without perceiving th...
