I've checked out twitter and some others that are similar, and to be honest, I'm just not interested in it. I don't care for all the micro-details of peoples lives, are rather not be annoyed by their constant updates, that are mostly irrelevant to what I'm doing.

 Gateway

Identi.ca has a nice gateway to Twitter. Even if you have more possibilities in Identi.ca you have access to both services through one.

(that's missing in the poll ;) )

Another way is ofcourse a program like choqok which has both services built in.

Interesting name, choqok. Sounds like something one of the alien species in Star Trek might say.

Yes, it's indeed an interesting name - as our software in KDE 4 comes originally from an interesting opensource scene in Iran... - It means "sparrow". And I think that the last weeks may have shown the power of such programs... ( http://choqok.gnufolks.org/ / http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=95760 )

 Twitter

I'm a rather happy twitter user. I've never liked MySpazz or Myface (Uh, facebook) very much. I just like being able to click on an icon in the panel, type in some stuff and press enter without stopping everything else I'm doing.

Was thinking about joining Identica.ca...

I don't understand why people blog about every single detail of their life. I just imagine what those people with phones are texting and/or blogging about, "I got in line, now I'm ordering french fries, now I'm getting the food, now I'm eating it, it tastes good..." It's annoying.

BSD is for people that like freedom.
Linux is for people that like "freedom"
