... techlinux is the good thing, but BLANES!!!!

Does anybody know if it's possible to get it for other distributions? It looks like a modified KDE, but if fakes anybody perfectly looking like M$ *doze!

I never heard of it before. Might be possible to hack it. There's an rpm package on the web, but I guess it's only for techlinux.

Anybody got a clue about this "Blane 2000" thing?

As far as I know, Blane's a software engineering project from a Brazilian University incorporated on TechLinux.

Do you really like it? Well, I think I'd better KDE, Gnome, etc. Nothing against its code, which I've never seen, but it looks too similar to windows. Particularly about its code, I must congratulate their writers, since I'm Brazilian, and I'm proud about Brazilian's things.

Repete o Mandrake, nos seus piores bugs. E olha que uso o Mandrake.

 FreeBSD

What a shame that there is so few votes for FreeBSD as far! If there was a need to describe FreeBSD in just one word it would be *STABILITY*. Of cause if you have gained someting you have to lose something as well, and in this case not all apps is always up-to-date. But you can always use ports to update them for it's really easy.

Hey - I got KDE 2.2 running on BSD, and I think it works perfectly fine except for the kdecore 150 Meg file that keeps coming up after a while in my root LOL =). BSD is the fastest starting operating system I ever saw boot up! I need to spend more time working with it.

 That only means...

... that there're more SuSe users than other distros that go to kde-look and like polls.

Debian guys probably are not very fond on this kind of polls and just don't care about giving stupid comments.... :)

(I'm not a Debian user. That was just an example)

i am a debian user and i make stupid comments frequently ;)

But to do a real comment, i used suse 7.2 and now i use debian, i have to say that kde and apps seams to load and be much faster now. But who knows what the reason for this is.
