 My preference -SuSE

For purely selfish reasons:
1) They have a service for keeping their users up to date with new KDE packages.
2) They don't put KDE with the rest of the system binaries, but in its own directory. This rocks.
3) They contribute money and code power to KDE.
4) They are light years beyond any other distro wrt KDE integrated configuration utilities.
5) 'Nuff said.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving :)

All of you guys out there know that any real die-hard uses slackware....But for a close second, Suse 7.3. The initial distro is beefy unlike Redhat's, cheaper on the wallet, and easier to configure and uses a more standard layout of the filesystem

bin there done that, slack is cool, but SuSE left you in the dust. Sorry you like wasting time relinking like
ln -sf /dev/snore /usr/src/bored ...
or maybe rm -rf /usr/local/lib/libqt.so.... blah blah snore...

does that count as Redhat?

Well some old folks like me are unwilling to throw away an old G4!

 SuSE has it!

After using several of the distros above and as a KDE user i have found that SuSE is the no1 KDE distro:
-quick updates of new packages
-works like a charm
-integrated settings tools
-the coolest lizard;)
The best thing about it is that they really focus on KDE!

SuSE>MDK>RH

MANDRAKE IS VERY UNSTABLE, SuSE make that KDE be beatiful and wonder, RedHat is very light and so *-STABLE-* .

Mandrake is not a good distro, SuSE, RedHat and Debian are a wonder distro (ARE QUICK, STABLE, EASY-TO-USE).-

Mandrake es basura

straight...it's only YaST which isn't GPL..everything else is. You get the src to yast..but you can't modify and redistribute it.

Which to me isn't a bad I idea..since Linuxconf is a bloody mess..at least YaST has been good for years and getting better. I can always count on it.
