Mine is at the bottom but bigger (62px) than default and 90% of the screen. And it is transparent (about 45% and colored grey). The buttons to hide it are hidden (which alas gives me no way to slide kicker out of the way anymore). http://img44.imageshack.us/my.php?image=2006011810246ve.jpg

I hve one in the lower left for kbfx, left side for acessing my partitions/removable media etc. top left system moniters and cliper, top center taskbar and desktop pager, topright, a run command applet, math expresion applet and dictionary applet, right big honking pannel for the clock, bottom right system tray and botom center is kooldock
