Hi.
I'm 20 years old (soon 21). My first Linux expirience was with SuSE Linux 8.0, about 5 years ago. Since KDE was the defult dektop for SuSE, I never wanted to switch to Gnome. Through the years I could see how KDE is gettting better, and I was happy with that. KDE is a very good DE indeed. I really like the freedom, when it comes to the custumisation of your desktop. I also like, that tons of apps are written for KDE.
Despite the positive things in KDE, I am planning to switch to Fluxbox, because it starts much faster than KDE. There were some times when KDE started rapidely, but now, its not that time. Fluxbox has some KDE support, so I can continue to use some good features of KDE, and run KDE based apps.

Looks like I'm too old for this poll :-) I'm 40 years now but had never confused this fact :-) I'm remember KDE 1.1, which I have used in FreeBSD 2.2.5 on i486 box with 16 Mb RAM :-)) That was at 1997. So more water flows till, so many changes were done. But one was never changed - I had used KDE, I'm using KDE, I'll use KDE :-)

I'm 16, turning 17 :) I was surprised that our group is in the second place, i didn't expect that... and what I really didn't expect is having people older than 60 :P

Cheers!
