i used to have 2 panels for applications, but icons are more efficient, so now i have default kde kicker andsmall icons on there too.

dang me too... its apparently pretty popular. i used to quick hide the taskbar, but now ive got that tiny all the way across the top and the main panel hides after three seconds

More or less the option "At the top of the screen, with taskbar at the bottom", however... there's some twists to that :)

Well i prefer mine in the top because it keeps me from moving my mouse all the time between top and bottom. Think of it as a faster mouse usage :)

The windeco buttons are reversed because the top-right button is the most easyer one to click and i minimize far more often than i close... That is why people have started to make their close buttons to work as "minimize to tray"..

50% bar at the bottom that is transparrent and a KASbar over at the top right running down for the 'taskbar'.

Works really nice
