Well, in my case it's more like "What distro do you like?". I can't use the distro I like because of hardware incompatibilities. In my laptop I can only install Fedora. Suse and Mandrake hang when I try to install them. I've seen the Suse 9.2 live-cd works well now so I hope to get Suse 9.2 soon and be able to finally install it.

In my home PC I use Mandrake 10.0 because I liked it when I installed it in march, although I have KDE 3.3 compiled from sources with Konstruct. Anyway, right now my preferences have changed and I like more Suse, so the next time I update my system it will probably be my choice.

Maybe a buggy bios. You have to disable acpi support if I remember correct.
