I have to admit, that I like the visual style of .NET (the original), but the .NET style in KDE isn't really a good copy. KDE.NET doesn't look bad, but it's far from the original. But of course we got Keramik, so we don't need the MS-Stuff ;-)

Where is the "other" option.

Most of your choices came with KDE. Hopw about giving more choices that actually came from KDE-LOOK.ORG?

What about these great styles?

- Acqua
- Acqua Graphite
- Kolorful Style
- even the many XP styles

I thought a poll was meant to have choices!

I haven't tried it yet because mandrake won't support it. But id love to see it included in 3.1 so i can finally try it out!

Yes!!! We need to discuss kde styles much more often. We have only two or three good original styles for kde. And we need more! So, artists and developers, concentrate on style, because we have enough wallpapers, splashes and, now, icons.

and this is keramik for me.
It doesnt base on any OS (like Liquid - Alpha).
I like liquid very much, but i think its time to make one style that is really unique and not copied!

You know, I was going to port gonx to kde 3, and I even went so far as to make a compilable stub project (e.g., compiles and installs as GONX, but doesn't yet do anything) -- but the thing is, I really, *really* like light style 3.

And also, I'm just to busy working on my robotics stuff. I wrote GONX in a couple of weekends simply because I needed a break from much harder work.

But, thanks! I'm glad to hear somebody likes it; and that the gaudy candy-styles aren't the only act in town.
